Ratings

There are four main insurance company rating agencies: A.M. Best, Moody’s, S&P, and Fitch.  Each has its own proprietary rating system to measure the underlying financial strength of an insurance company.  The most commonly quoted rating for annuity-based insurance companies is A.M. Best.  A summary of their ratings are as follows:

We are serious about keeping our client’s money safe and secure.  For the protection of our client’s money (and in keeping with industry standards), we only recommend annuities from companies with a B+ or higher A.M.
